Job Description:
- The Systems/Network Engineer is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
- This individual participates in continuous innovation of the network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze organization’s requirements, design, and develop Systems and networks architecture and specifications.
- Research, plan, evaluate and integrate new technologies of computer systems and data communications.
- Assess, document and optimize the performance of information systems and networks.
- Co-operates in implementing organization policies and procedures.
- Preparation of annual IT budgets, expenses and conduct statistical reports on IT expenses.
- Install, configure and administer Windows Servers(2008-2012-2016),
- Install, configure and administer Windows(7,10) and desktop applications
- Troubleshoot OS and Hardware issues and track from incident detection through Resolution (including Vendor escalations).
- Planning and designing network and systems security.
- Planning and designing LAN and WAN Infrastructure.
- Planning Backup strategies and designing the backup system.
- Test and certify new Servers, PCs and Peripheral Hardware in a lab setting to be compatible with existing Landscape and/or plan for mitigation.
- Maintain and update the school website and CMS / LMS.
- Coordinates all introductory sessions to the new administrative system and backs-up and secures school information on the system.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Computer science or computer engineering graduate.
- Microsoft MCSE & Cisco CCNA certifications are a must.
- 3-5 years' experience in a production/ high availability environment.
- Strong user support and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users.
