Job Description
- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp needs and specifications
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies
Job Requirements
- A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional video/design and video editing skills; a clear grasp of typography, color, and motion.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Creative and proactive problem solver who is able to make quick decisions.
- Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities (quickly and efficiently) with tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere/ Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop/ Motion/ and/or After Effects, …)
- Color correction and grading.
- Experience with motion graphics is an asset.
- Videography is an asset.
- Fluency in English
