Job Requirements
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.
• Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Proven software development experience in PHP
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Symfony2, Laravel, ..., etc).
• Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc.
• Good knowledge of relational databases SQL and ORM technologies, version control tools and of developing web services.
• Fluency with at least one SCM tool (Git, SVN, or similar).
• Fluency with setting up a local Dev-server.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc). • Experience with test-driven development, perform unit and integration testing before launch.
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field is strongly preferred
