Job Description

  • Conducts market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends.
  • Assists in marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
  • Assists in analyzing marketing data (activities results, program results, traffic...etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Undertakes individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.
  • Works on building brand awareness among ESCD’s entire target group.
  • Proposes advertising and promotional activities.
  • Oversees the execution of all the digital marketing activities.
  • Implements all the MarCom activities and research undertaken at our centers.
  • He/She will be responsible for liaison and building relationships with embassies, associations, other NGOs, publishers and corporations with an objective of creating mutually beneficial protocols that will be executed through all branches/Centers.
  • Executes an active calendar of cultural events.
  • Works with creative teams to come up with branding ideas, advertising copy, graphic designs, and promotional materials.
  • Reports findings and results to upper management and executives.

Job Requirements

  • A commitment to work for the voluntary sector.
  • Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role.
  • Understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as Social media etc.) and market research methods.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
  • Knowledge of Media Channels.
  • Good copy writing/report writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal and excellent presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of written/spoken English language.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, iMovies, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM), Graphics applications and Web analytics etc.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several strands of work at the same time.
  • Ability to work well with a wide range of people from different segments of the organization.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • A demonstrated high level of drive whether working as an individual or as part of a team.
  • A bachelor's degree, BSc/BA in marketing, communications or Business or related field
  • 3-4 years of related experience.
  • Age: Not more than 28 years old.
