Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a Social Media Specialist you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.

There must be a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. You will combine your marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance company social media presences, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue in a positive, authentic way that would attract today’s modern, hyper-connected customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Create a regular publishing schedule; Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML)
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Provide constructive feedback

Job Requirements

  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
  • Excellent content creation, consulting, writing, copy-writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
  • Fluency in English
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
