Job Description

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas for specific districts of our company.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience being responsible for the sale of a business’ products or services in a specified region or geographical area, while taking accountability for reaching targets. You should also be able to supervise a team of salespeople and set profitable goals. Our ideal candidates combine excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset.

The organization totally depends on his/her expertise and abilities in revolutionizing the sales force, and as such should be in close liaison with the management and business department heads.

Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

Responsibilities:

  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives for the region
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding our customer base
  • Servicing the needs of our existing customers
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Recruiting and training sales staff
  • Developing sales strategies and setting targets
  • Monitoring sales team's performance and motivating them to reach targets
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research
  • Reporting to senior management
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other fields related to the profession
  • Strong communication, negotiation, organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to design and effectively implement both short-term and long-term business strategies
  • Leadership skills
  • Proven experience in cross-selling, and competence in various sales activities
  • Ability to be flexible and to multitask
  • Ability to absorb pressure that comes with the position
