Job Description
We're looking for a superstar SEO Specialist to take some of Egypt's best loved and most-read sites to the next level.
This is a full-time, in-house position at Cairo's most vibrant and dynamic workplaces.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience with Google tools (Analytics, AdWords, Keywords
- At least 2 years experience with Google’s Keyword Tools
- A functional understanding of HTML and CSS
- The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
- Track record in developing successful link building and keyword strategies
- The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy
- A deep understanding of mobile strategy (responsive web design) and how it relates to SEO
- A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO
- Experience in both On-page and Off-page SEO
- A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations
- Following up with ever-changing SEO trends
- Proven ability to work with editors, writers, programmers and developers efficiently
Preferable:
- PHP (scripting language), UX (user experience), IA (Information Architecture), CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), SEM (search engine marketing- important), Content Strategy, Social Media
