Job Description

This is an exciting position for a motivated business professional with a strong personality, and significant time management capabilities to join our dynamic consulting team. This is a position of a Personal Assistant to the CEO. This role typically includes day-to-day exposure to a diverse range of clients and industries in a progressive, challenging and supportive environment.

As a Personal Assistant you are expected to highly manage a diverse portfolio of activities and play a leadership role within the company. This is a key role with world-class expectations to make a real impact during an exciting expansion phase of the business.

This is an opportunity to join a leading management consultancy firm, providing top-notch consultation service to a diverse client base, in a demanding market dynamics.

Responsibilities:

  • Screening telephone calls, inquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
  • Organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments
  • Dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the manager
  • Taking dictation and minutes
  • Carrying out background research and presenting findings
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Organizing and attending meetings and ensuring the manager is well-prepared for meetings
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff
  • Deputizing for the manager, making decisions and delegating work to others in the manager's absence
  • Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management, filing, etc.
  • Arranging travel & accommodation and occasionally travelling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience and administrative knowledge
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent word processing skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation software packages
  • Honesty and reliability
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and to extremely tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to small details
  • Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlines
  • An understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion.
  • Exemplary communication skills, written and oral
  • Demonstrable presentation and influencing skills
  • Cultural tolerance
  • Unrestricted ability to travel
