Job Description
- Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers.
- Investigating and setting standards for quality and health and safety
- Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level
- Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards and systems
- Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
- Ensuring that all activities are performed in accordance with GMP, company SOPs and Health and Safety policies.
- Maintaining an awareness of new and proposed legislation that impacts the business and communicating any changes to the Management Team.
- Ensuring that the Quality department meets or improves on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets (KPIs) in line with business objectives.
- Managing, motivating, coaching and mentoring direct reports, to higher levels of management capability.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferable Mechanical.
- Strong knowledge in RCA / PPS /Six Sigma/Quality Circle.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma and TQM.
- Strong experience in Lean /ISO 9001.
- Strong background in Heavy industries and is a plus.
- Excellent command of English language (speaking, reading and writing).
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment.
