Job Description
- Prepares and/or revises the subject’s booklet, sheets, exams, etc.
- Coaches his/her staff members in both administrative and academic aspects
- Provides continuous support for his/her staff members and motivates them to do their best by creating a positive atmosphere of cooperation and understanding.
- Recognizes the points of weakness in his/her staff members and provides short term and long term
- Conducts regular class visits to each member of her staff.
- Follows up the syllabus progress and homework regularity.
- Conducts regular meetings with his/her staff in order to provide clear and updated instructions
- Checks correction regularity and accuracy.
- Sets remedial solutions for the weak students.
- Sets and follows up the activity plan for his/her department.
- Helps in setting the substitution schedule if any of his/her staff members is absent.
- Takes over some extra sessions to fill in for any absent teacher in his/her staff
- Deals with parents in case of any complaints in a cooperative and constructive way.
- Responsible for new books selection in case of changing the syllabus (non-ministry subjects).
- Presents a Weekly Follow-up Form for their staff members to the prim and prep sections heads
- Provides an annual improvement plan to raise the students’ academic achievements
