Job Description
- Working with Maintenance Workers and Skilled Technicians for a smooth workflow and flawless maintenance execution
- Responsible for Emergency Maintenance response to critical manufacturing processes including breakdown diagnosis and analysis to reduce operational downtime.
- Plans, implements, and coordinates mechanical maintenance operations and relevant communication with operations and quality departments for Predictive and Corrective Maintenance
- Prepares maintenance spare parts list, mechanical maintenance budget, and stock management plan (min/max) for predictive and corrective maintenance requirements
- Assists in annual CAPEX preparation for factory equipment and machinery
- Conducts relevant trainings for Technicians for maintenance procedures and new equipment received.
- Conducts trainings for operational staff for newly received equipment and good operational practices to prolong equipment lifetime
- Keeping daily maintenance Logs and Reports for data entry administrator usage
- Responsible for HSE adherence, job safety analysis and risk management for mechanical maintenance team
- Reviewing existing health and safety procedures for improvements
- Review and Commissioning of new product lines
- Coordinates repair efforts and outsourcing with third party companies
- Reviews specifications for new equipment in pre-tendering phase in addition to in-house equipment modification / enhancement / fabrication recommendations and implementation.
- Conducting Technical Audits on technicians’ tasks for compliance and gap identification
- Reviewing and updating Standard Operating Maintenance Procedures (SOPs)
Job Requirements
- BSc in Engineering
- Experience in Pneumatics, Process Control, and Automation is required.
- 8-12 Years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in Refractory, Steel, FMCG, or other Heavy Industries is a plus
- Leadership, maintenance planning experience is a plus
- Good AutoCad / Solid Works / Solid Edge Knowledge
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite knowledge (e.g. Word, Excel)
- Self-Motivated and Able to work under pressure
- Excellent Troubleshooting, Communication, Organizational, Time Management, Team Work, Leadership, Creativity, Critical Analysis, Coaching and Mentoring, and Decision Making Skills
- Very Good Written and Oral English and Arabic Skills
