Job Description
- Plans, evaluates and manages fleet capacity and utilization.
- Responsible for efficiency KPIs and standards of the fleet.
- Manages the operation and maintenance of the organizations motor vehicles.
- Develops and implements vehicles and equipment preventive maintenance programs.
- Develops and maintains outside vendor and service provider relationships.
- Controls the maintenance and repair of vehicles in the fleet.
- Organizes replacement and disposal of damaged or old vehicles.
- Ensures all proper documentation is done (work orders, vehicle inspections).
- Manages vehicle handover teams and shifts.
- Responsible to ensure proper operation techniques to ensure safety of operation and of company assets.
- Analyzes trip delays and implements changes to process to save time.
- Schedules weekly and daily work assignments for drivers.
- Monitors driver attendance, documents violations, prepares infraction notices.
- Ensures driver performance evaluations are completed and that drivers meet all contractual standards.
- Organizes regular driver safety meetings, evaluates safety and training programs to improve effectiveness.
- Responds to accidents and conducts accident investigations including all required reports.
- Reports fleet cost, performance, profitability.
- Coordinates fleet workflow.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree from any discipline.
- Experience in GPS application.
