Job Description
- Provide operational support for the network security environment / day to day network & security support.
- Ability to learn and become an expert in all areas of network security including but not limited to hardware/software interconnections and interfaces, such as Firewalls, IDS / IPS, Content Filters, Remote Access solutions, Authentication methods, Anti-Virus Systems and Data Loss Prevention technologies.
- Performing analysis of network security needs.
- Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
- Analyze issues with service interruptions and performance.
- Administer all network equipment, including routers, switches and maintain network assets, related documentation, and technical specifications.
- Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
Job Requirements
- Must have CCNA & MCSA Windows 2012
- 3+ years’ experience in Information Security Technologies and nice to have CCNP R&S / CCNP Security , CEH
- Ability to draw network diagrams both logical and physical using Visio.
- 3+ years’ experience in Information Technology preferred in similar sector ( Financial Services )
- Cisco Certified Network or Security Professional (CCNP/CCNA) – Not required but a plus
- Good Knowledgeable with Microsoft, Linux OS & Cisco Networking and Security Solutions
- Capable of researching, developing, and administering new technologies
- Strong interpersonal, communication , analytical and troubleshooting skills
