Job Description

As a Logistics Manager

  • You will be responsible of the Supply Chain customer interface in the juice industry of orangewave Egypt,
  • You will contribute to maximizing customer satisfaction, service level and collaboration until the shelf while minimizing Supply Chain costs and inefficiencies.
  • Moreover, you will enhance collaboration by having the room to develop leading solutions with customers that drive volume growth and provide a sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Design, develop & implement CS D Logistics Strategy:
  • Design and implement customer service & Trade Logistics strategy by customer or cluster of customers defining mission & vision along with roles, responsibilities & expectations for various teams in alignment to business goals and objectives.
  • Actively manage and leads a CS & TRD logistics team and contributes to periodic management meetings, as well as collaborates with peers in other countries as necessary.
  • Logistic solutions & support for local distribution:
  • Sets and communicates priorities for immediate work group with full proof back-up in place w/o any interruption to business.
  • Responsible for overseeing big picture execution including contracting, documentation, payment, quality measurements, customer support, warehousing, domestic transportation & distribution, supervision & customs approval etc.
  • Dealing closely with Planning and logistics teams as well as a juice plant and ensure of timely availability of required transportation by maintaining required per day delivery rate to plant.
  • Process improvement, Operational efficiency of assets, Risk Management, Accountability & Innovation:
  • Ensuring all import/export country requirements and compliances are reviewed, updated and shared timely to avoid any operational risk to business.
  • Recommending and implementing processes for improvements across the functions to reduce execution costs and/or increase CS efficiency by maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Interface & Business Partnership:
  • Manage and contributes in developing and strengthening relationships with key clients, stakeholders & business partners (e.g. Distributors, Factories, insurance companies, laboratories, agents, government authorities, warehouses/trucking companies, banks) to achieve positive customer experience.
  • Budgeting, Talent development & Performance management:
  • Responsible for aligning team resources by having proper budgeting for the CS & TRD function to execute short and longer-term strategies by meeting objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years of experience preferably in food or juices industries
