Service and Aftermarket Engineer

Turbo Egypt Compression is seeking an aftermarket engineer who will support Ingersoll Rand Integrally Geared MSG-TA Centrifugal Compressors in Egypt through performing the following duties:

• Continuously acquiring the necessary knowledge and technological data that helps him in servicing the equipment under service.
• Follow up customers’ needs of technical support for their compressors.
• Discuss and check customers’ plans of regular maintenance and overhaul of their equipment.
• Prepare a detailed report of the accomplished services on each compressor. (Daily service work on site).
• Perform the start-up and commissioning of new compressors.
• Work on improving the performance of the compressors under his responsibility.
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
• Get technical and commercial spare parts quotes from vendor and discuss them in details
• Submit quotation to end customer and follow up sales leads
• Negotiating tender and contract terms and closing sales jobs.
• Continuously auditing spare parts at customer site and check customer needs of spare parts.
• Prepare lists of recommended spare parts and consumables necessary for the customers
• Establish, maintain and strength good relationships with customers and keep customer satisfaction.
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements
• Support the marketing Department by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
