Job Description
Reporting to the Manager of the Technical Support Department.
Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring computer (hardware, Software).
- Daily monitoring and maintaining computer systems.
- Respond to all queries either in person or over the phone.
- Troubleshooting system, computer issues and diagnosing/solving hardware or software faults.
- Replacing hardware parts as required.
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- Supporting the roll-out of GUC new applications.
- Working continuously on a task until completion or escalate.
- Testing and evaluating new technology.
- Train the GUC staff members on the new equipment and technical techniques whenever it is required.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge in all the Microsoft Products.
- Good knowledge in Linux, MacOS, iOS and Android.
- Good Knowledge in computers hardware parts.
- Strong knowledge in Image and cloning concept.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of software problems and internet searching method.
- Able to work under pressure and stress.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
- Knowledge and professional use of the German Language for business purposes is an asset.
- Self-motivated, with high level of communication skills, mind concentration and time management.
Education and Experience
- University degree is a must (preferably in Computer Engineering or Computer Science).
- Minimum three years of experience in the IT Technical Support field.
