Job Description
- Achieve sales objectives for District through leadership of Sales Representatives
- Provide regular written and verbal feedback and direction to Sales Representatives
- Coach and counsel representatives to optimize territory performance
- Develop an expert knowledge of products, disease states, and competitors
- Ensure adherence to Company sampling policies
- Manage District expenses within allocated budget
- Participate, as requested, in internal meetings to update progress and suggest positive solutions to specific issues and/or opportunities
- Develop a positive, inclusive culture in which representatives can develop and thrive while meeting sales objectives
- Prepare annual performance appraisals
- Successfully complete all corporate training requirements
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree required ( pharma , medicine or Vet )
- Minimum 5-years pharma sales management experience with documented leadership and measurable, sustained performance
- Experience with launching products successfully preferred
- Ability to manage a district's vision and purpose that is consistent with corporate and business objectives
- Possess strong presentation, organization, administrative and communication skills
- Ability to travel 50-75%
