Job Description
Aviation Manager ( Ticketing )
- Manage the portfolio of key airline accounts whilst building strong business relationships
- Negotiate and contract preferential commercial deals and rates ensuring we always have the best rates in the industry
- Ensure we have full fare content (leisure and corporate) with all airline partners
- Ensure all commercial deals are maximized to exceed targets
- Securing additional revenue opportunities through partnership agreements, tactical activity and exclusive fares
- Analyze sales performance of airline partners and ensure the business is up to date with sales performance, issues and opportunities
- Monitor sales performance to get best pricing and maximize margin
- Work with the commercial team/manager to recommend and set air pricing levels based on competitor analysis, sales trends, booking data and revenue goals
- Liaising with all other functions across the business including Ticketing, BSP, Reservations and Operations to ensure best practice and highlight any potential efficiencies
- React to any Aviation issues that arise, and liaise with all relevant departments ensuing correct information is passed to the business and adopt collaborative working
- Ensure airfare tactical offers are promoted in an effective and timely manner to our network of Travel Counselors, by liaising with the destination and promotion and reservations teams
- Oversee the aviation development and distribution strategy to ensure we are ahead of competition and looking to the future
