About the Job
  • The VoIP Support Engineer is responsible for managing, maintaining and implementing our end clients' IP phone systems.
  • Ensuring client satisfaction and performing proper maintenance for the phone system is essential in this position.
  • This is achieved by quickly resolving incidents that our clients open tickets for and by constantly monitoring the alerts generated by our tools to resolve incidents before our clients are affected.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in telecom, networking or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in various PBX & IP based phone systems.
  • Strong IP and VoIP protocol interoperability troubleshooting skills.
  • 2+ years’ experience in computer network management is required.
  • Must have experience capturing and reviewing packets to identify problems affecting the call quality or the call connection.
  • Experience in Linux OS at administrator level.
  • Knowledge of VoIP, RTP, SIP and H.323 and call flow.
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Resident of Cairo.
