Job Description
Seeking a Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter / Mechanic to join our team at Elmaraghy Group (ready mix concrete) in the position of Workshop Supervisor.
The role reports to the Workshop Manager and will be required to perform mechanical repairs and servicing of heavy vehicles including:
- Conducting all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics and fabrication
- Ensuring the fleet is maintained to, and in compliance with, Fleet Management Standards, with an emphasis on safety
- Compliance with the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) relating to workshop/fleet operations
- On-site checks and breakdowns
- Supervising a team of Tradesmen & Apprentices
- Overseeing the daily operations of the Workshop
Job Requirements
- The Candidate MUST have experience in the field of Heavy Vehicle (Mixers & Pumps).
- Have Supervisory experience in the Mechanical Trade industry.
- Be an exceptional communicator who possesses a genuine desire to be a team player.
- Exceptional eye for detail.
- Understanding of computer systems.
