Job Description
A company working in the field of importing interior and decorations products is seeking to hire a logistics officer to handle their multiple imported shipments, applicant doesn't have to be experienced, but should be ready to learn and add to his/her position. Job tasks will be as per the following:
- Contacting suppliers abroad to check the stock availability of products.
- Issue POs for our international suppliers.
- Request shipping quotations from different freight forwarders.
- handle and coordinate between freight forwarder and supplier till the shipment is on board.
- organize and schedule the arrived shipments.
- handle and file the documents of each shipment.
- prepare the customs clearance documents.
- follow up with the freight forwarder and customs broker until the shipment is released
- record and revise the stock levels at our warehouse.
- handle the deliveries to our local clients.
Job Requirements
- Very good command of written English.
- Very good and professional in email contacting.
- Bachelor degree is preferred.
- Living within 6th of October area.
- 0 - 2 years experience.
