Job Description

  • Plan the monthly content calendar in line with the marketing plan and content marketing strategy
  • Own the budget for content creation, manage and balance the budget each month
  • Manage Social Media pages producing a weekly content schedule that brings our brand personality to life
  • Plan how each piece of content will be produced / sourced and amplified and managed this whole process
  • Gain a deep understanding of the target customer, the business challenges they face, etc. so he/she can create great content that educates them.
  • Lead the ideation, production, execution, and distribution of exceptional content marketing pieces, from blog posts and videos to lead magnets and social media updates and everything in-between
  • Coordinate with the in-house team to manage content contributions, acting as the managing editor and publisher ensuring all content is in line with our brand identity and brand voice guidelines
  • Be able to create remarkable content from scratch
  • Ensure, to the best of his/her abilities (and working with the growth marketer), that content is correctly optimized for SEO with the right metadata and linking structure Identify and build a community of Influencers, brand advocates and our customers from whom you will source and curate content
  • Constantly push creative boundaries in order to generate fresh content ideas that connect with our audience in new ways and distribution tactics that expand our reach
  • Analyze performance of content and social content on a weekly basis and use this to constantly evolve the calendar moving forward
  • Be the eyes and ears for the team on what’s trending on social media in our space.
  • Take a broader POV (point of view) beyond just USP (Unique Selling Proposition) as to what are the relevant topics of conversation we should be involved in.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years content creation/editing/storytelling experience
  • The drive and skills to make things happen
  • Deep familiarity with and passion for Travel and hospitality (highly regarded)
  • A true team player who happily incorporates feedback as necessary
  • A deep understanding of the importance of storytelling, story angles, excellent copywriting and what keeps audiences engaged
  • The ability to take ownership of their space and manage end to end content creation so that you can architect the entire process, inclusive of being cognizant of which areas you need to collaborate with peers and freelancers on (eg he/she can concept, style & art direct and manage a photographer to shoot and edit).
  • An intuition for the type of content that engages.
  • Understand what’s going to make our audience feel inspired!
  • Good time management.
  • he/she needs to plan out his time in a way that enables you to keep up with the pace of content generation required.
  • Media agency/media buying experience is essential
  • Fluent English language is a must
