Job Description
- Design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.
- Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Related Field.
- Excellent knowledge of Java development.
- Excellent knowledge of Android SDK, IDE Android Studio/IntelliJ, Debugging, GPS, XML, and JSON.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Excellent knowledge of Android Layout Designing, Web Services, Code
- Signing and Application release.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN)
- Experience with offline storage (SQLite), threading, and performance tuning
- Ability to write clean code.
- Experience distributing and supporting apps through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store
- Knowledge of object-oriented concept
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the entire application development process, including testing, build, deploy, and maintenance
