Job Description

  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Maintains compliance with state regulations concerning employment.
  • Writes, revises, edits and proofreads company Policies and procedures and related documents as needed.
  • Works with line managers to develop job descriptions.
  • Assists with development/implementation of performance evaluation and rewards systems.
  • Participates in surveys to ensure pay scale complies with changing laws and regulations and meets organizations objectives
  • Assist in benchmarking positions against market to ensure competitive compensation.
  • Coordinates implementation/ maintenance of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Ensures legal and ethical compliance with state laws.
  • Coordinates employee recognition programs and events.
  • Maintain the highest degree on confidentiality and professional discretion.
  • Responsible for managing day to day Operations employee relations, compensation and progression issues for Operations.
  • Participates in the development of policy and documentation.
  • Assists to establish departmental measurements that support the accomplishment of the company’s strategic goals.
  • Assists with the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance improvement plans (PIPs) and employee development programs.
  • Establishes an in-house employee training system that addresses TOWN TEAM training needs including training needs assessment, new employee orientation, and management development.
  • Maintains employee-training records.
  • Provides necessary education and materials to managers and employees including workshops, manuals, employee handbooks and standardized reports.
  • Partners with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs and laws.
  • Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
  • Provides competitive market research and prepares pay studies to help establish pay practices that help to recruit and retain superior staff.
  • Assists with the implementation of company safety and health programs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Organization Development or equivalent.
  • 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources position.
  • Knowledge of software currently used and strong computer skills.
  • Good knowledge of employment law
