Language Lead / Alexandria

Commanine is seeking a Language Lead. Who will act as a senior editor/ Head of translation team.

Key roles and responsibilities:-

• Translate every piece of content while being mindful of the audience.
• Love and master research and you always use diverse tools to research style, previous work, and the latest trends to ensure your translated piece is relevant, unique and produced in the highest quality and ready for publication.
Raise questions/queries about the context if the info is wrong or contradicts with another sentence, and you always suggest alternatives.

mix together span from a feel of the language, translation and writing skills, an in-depth understanding of the cultural context in play, your ability to read between the lines to the more technical aspects of your work such as Trados, xbench tools, glossaries and machine learning resources.
• Assisting in resource allocation
• Evaluating clients’ request,
• Evaluating clients’ complains and meddling in case of quality disputes
• Resolving potential discrepancies and language and terminology issues,
• Communication with translators and project manager about the language issues,
• Performing language quality controls and other linguistic reviews,
• Participation on creating new and improving existing working processes.
• Packing as a linguistic consultant for the team and clients,
• Providing input on quote requests,
