Job Description
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Write “clean”, well-designed code
- Produce detailed specifications
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Follow industry best practices
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
- Developing Web Applications, Websites and E-Commerce based apps.
- Responsible for the delivery of small to large projects, within a time frame.
Job Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in PHP web development.
- Excellent in PHP programming and other relevant tools.
- Excellent in MySQL (database structure and SQL for reporting)
- Excellent in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX
- Experience with common open source tools (ex: WordPress, Moodle), relational databases, and version control tools.
- Good knowledge of PHP Design Patterns.
- Knowledge of famous PHP frameworks (ex: CakePHP, Laravel).
- Experience in UI technologies like JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XAML, Bootstrap is a plus.
- Familiar with SEO best practices.
- Developing Web Applications, Websites and E-Commerce based apps.
- Self-motivated, curious, creative and passionate about technology.
- Strong understanding of OOP & MVC Concepts
- Strong understanding of SQL
- Very good understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills .
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes.
