Job Purpose :

To handle all wages related activities and key tasks concerning tangible and intangible benefits of the employees

  • Designation: HR Specialist
  • Location: Maadi HQ
  • Job Grade: G01/G02
  • Reporting: Human Resources Business Lead

A. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Management:

  • Timely monitoring of new hires and leavers and amending monthly payroll accordingly
  • Calculate the pro rata of both leavers and new joiners to ensure remuneration correspond to the actual working days
  • Coordinate with Finance Team debits (if any) including loans, open invoices, deductibles, etc and take corrective measures
  • Cross match figures with the master database of Finance to ensure no descripancies
  • Liaise with the bank to validate received new created accounts to avoid anomalies on execution
  • Develop a mechanism for payroll reconciliation to compare month against month and ensure differences are justified
  • Track attendance system and extract reports on regular basis hence implement actions due to unauthorized lateness or no shows
  • Handle all tasks related to car allowance and loans from submitting the request to receiving the car by the employee (fleet program)

2.Medical Insurance:

  • Focal point of contact of Medical Insurance concerning invoices, validation, addition and deletions
  • Survey the market to compare the service we have against the standards of the market and recommending suggestions
  • Facilitate the reimbursement process of non-network consultation and treatment of the employees
  • Review and keep eyes on utilization of the services through the online program

3.Employee Database:

  • Ensure creation of records for new hires on the HR System on a timely manner
  • Filter leavers on monthly basis
  • Updating bank details for newly received accounts to minimize cash payment
  • Report attrition rates and suggest ways to improve retention (from wages and benefits point of view)

Job Requirements

B.Qualification/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Level of education: relevant degree preferably in adminstration
  • Experience: Previous experience at Pharmaceutical Company is a definite plus
  • Multinational experience is an advantage
  • Language : English proficiency is mandated
  • IT Literacy: Professional MS-Office knowledge especially Excel advanced capabilities (V Lookup, If Function, Pivot Table, etc)
