Staff Nurse

Assesses, plans, implements, reevaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with departmental policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice. The specialized department nurse uses specialized knowledge, judgment nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of patients. The specialized nurse follows Hospital standards of care, policies and procedures for the particular department.
