UX/UI Design Manager

• Venturous is looking for a UX/UI Design Manager to supervise our growing Design and User Experience (UX) consulting practice. The right fit for this role is someone who has proven experience in similar role with a continued joy in doing hands-on design and UX work. The ideal candidate will have solid experience spanning both the visual design and user experience design/ testing disciplines focused on the delivery of complete solutions, websites and applications, for well-known brands.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coach a startup team of Visual Designers, UX Designers and Information Architects in project contexts
• Provide support for our sales team in the selling of projects including presentations to key stakeholders, preparing offers, and RFP responses
• Lead customer engagements including understanding business goals and requirements through group discovery meetings and stakeholder interviews
• Be responsible for creative project execution and delivery both individually and as leader of the Design & UX practice
• Work closely with client, business and internal multidisciplinary technical team to translate user needs, technology capabilities, and business objectives into unique, engaging experiences throughout the product development lifecycle
• Lead and support UX test planning and activities to gather insights from end-users
• Develop personas, task flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes and user interface comps based upon usability principals, best practices and research
• Recruit a professional team of designers and UX experts
• Set objectives for the team and develop methodologies for projects delivery
• Run performance appraisal for the team on a yearly basis
