Job Description
- Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
- Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
- Follow the guidance of the executive chef or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
- Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
- Enforce strict health & hygiene standards
- Help maintain a climate of the smooth and friendly corporation
Job Requirements
- Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- A highly motivated leader, able to demonstrate strong organizational and managerial skills.
- Experience in sourcing and purchasing cost-effective supplies.
- Good working knowledge of special dietary requirements.
