About the Job
  • Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
  • Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
  • Follow the guidance of the executive chef or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
  • Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
  • Enforce strict health & hygiene standards
  • Help maintain a climate of the smooth and friendly corporation
Job Requirements
  • Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • A highly motivated leader, able to demonstrate strong organizational and managerial skills.
  • Experience in sourcing and purchasing cost-effective supplies.
  • Good working knowledge of special dietary requirements.
