Job Description
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Native Android and/or iOS Mobile Application Development to work on https://rocket.chat/ framework. Our office is inside the Greek Campus.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build applications for the iOS & Android platform
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2+ years development experience in technology industry
- Strong knowledge of mobile platforms and frameworks
- Expert knowledge of Objective-C (iOS) and/or Java (Android)
- Strong Nodejs experience
- Solid computer science fundamentals (threading, memory management, and speed)
- Advanced experience with the iOS and/or Android toolchain
- Experience building public-facing APIs and SDKs
- Passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you
- Experience working with Agile engineering practices (continuous integration, TDD, etc.)
- Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development.
- Examples of shipped applications on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
- Experience with mobile build systems/automation
- Experience with testing frameworks
- Involvement in the mobile developer community
- Experience working with the AWS stack
