Job Description
Basic Function
- Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and conducting sales activities to his assigned geographic region and/or accounts.
- Promote the Delta Building Systems products to projects stakeholders inaccordance with established company goals, policies, and procedures. Prepare forecast for assigned accounts.
Major Job Responsibilities
- Supervises the sales activities of junior sales engineers / sales executives within assigned region.
- Keep close business relation with consultants, architects, contractors, and real estate developers.
- Conduct research for potential clients and future projects.
- Approach potential clients (consultants, contractors, real estate developers …etc.) to specify Delta Block products in their projects.
- Develop forecast for projects sales and follow up on timely delivery.
- Submit regular reports regarding assigned responsibilities current sales activities and potential projects.
- Monitor and report competitors' actions and propose counteractions required.
- Generates reports that reflect the volume of business in his/her area.
Relationships and Contacts
Supervisory Relationships:
1. Reports direct to the Sales Manager.
Organization Relationships:
1. Has extensive contact with company's marketing execution team.
2. has extensive contact with company's deliveries team.
External Business Relationships:
1. Has continuous contact with distributors/retailers to promote Delta Building Systems products and provides assistance with sales programs.
2. Has continuous contact with consultants, architects, and contractors in his area of responsibility, develop and maintain their brand loyalty.
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Architecture Engineering or Business Administration / Marketing from a known university
- 5+ years of experience in same position in a reputable building materials company.
- Construction materials market experience would be an asset.
- Excellent knowledge in retail sector.
- Excellent ability to present, sell, prescribe, and promote the company products portfolio
- Work effectively, independently, and collaboratively in team-oriented environment
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent use of Excel in specific and other MS Office applications in general.
- CRM and ERP experience is an asset.
- Fluent English.
