Job Description
- Ensure that the project is planned and performed within the cost and time limits, and in agreement with the contractual requirements
- Develop the project organizational structure as well as the communication guide.
- Define clearly interfaces between all stakeholders and develop the corresponding responsibility matrices.
- Development of the Work Base Structure and project time schedule, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, site activities and testing/commissioning.
- Validate the project budget and estimate the subsequent costs and resources.
- Develop the project execution plan, safety plan and ensure follow-up.
- Ensure coordination between all members of the project team then organize and conduct internal/external kick-off meetings.
- Project management responsibilities with the customer/subcontractors including the following: Contract review, review of the general commercial conditions, specific conditions as well as quality, packing, shipping and documentation requirements for contracts with customer and subcontractors.
- Issuance of purchase requisitions for all material then follow up the procurement Dept. activities, follow up the manufacturing, the delivery and the payment to subcontractors.
- Issuance requests for obtaining all required insurance and guarantees.
- Responsible for change order requests and contract amendments.
- Responsible for all claims (including insurance claims).
- Handle the internal bonuses and penalties for project staff.
- Ensure proper follow-up of the documentation and correspondences.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. electrical power engineering (at least)
- Previous experience in power transmission (is a must)
- from 15-20 years of experience in the same field
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent Leadership Skills.
- problem-solving skills with high ability level of planning and organization.
