elmenus is a venture-backed food discovery startup based in Egypt that serves over 1 Million monthly users. We are building a platform that combines a social, visual and personalized experience to help people discover and order the food they will love. We received a 1.5 Million USD in venture capital in mid 2017 to help us grow faster in the huge global market of food discovery. We are looking for the smartest, most impactful and passionate people to join our food loving team.

We continuously enhance our understanding of the restaurant industry and are currently hiring a sales manager to help us on our mission of enabling restaurants of all sizes that make great food and need to reach the customers who are most passionate about the food they offer.

You will be mainly responsible for growing our network of partner restaurants and act as an adviser to them by offering different solutions like online ordering, targeted advertising products and valuable data to help them enhance their services and reach.

What you will do:

  • Building, incentivizing, training and motivating a scalable sales team to establish winning relationships with restaurants of all sizes
  • Get deals done: achieving monthly revenue targets, contract signings and establishing new contacts with restaurants
  • Sourcing new opportunities: you will be directly responsible for managing and establishing new relationships with top key accounts
  • Develop measures to increase sales funnel
  • Leading the sales team towards achieving short and long term growth goals
  • Managing retention of accounts through a team of relationship manager
  • Engage in regular feedback to identify customer needs and work with other teams to customize our products and processes to better suit our partners’ changing needs

Job Requirements

What will make you fit for this role:

  • Proven record of hitting and exceeding sales targets directly or through directly managing sales teams
  • Strong relationship building, negotiation and communication skills
  • Genuine passion in understanding client needs and helping them achieve growth
  • Experience working in the restaurants industry is a huge plus
  • Proven experience in managing, leading, and motivating sales teams
  • Self-starter, and results driven
