Warehouse Supervisor

Main Duties:

• Coordinates the storage and movement of final products, raw materials and packaging materials in the shipping/receiving area and the warehouse
• Manages the warehouse by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, recommending improvements
• Verifies the availability of raw materials and packaging materials for production needs and timely informs the Logistics Manager in case of shortage
• Organizes and manages shipments, makes arrangements with the carriers, produces and collects the related documentation (e.g. picking lists, shipments cost documents, etc.,)
• Records goods entry
• Participates in the periodic physical inventory
• Ensures warehouse equipment is fully operative, requesting preventive maintenance and organizing repairs
• Organizes and supervises the activities of the warehouse team, trains new staff and supervises safety aspects in the warehouse
• Manages all waste produced by the plant, organizing all related activities with carriers and waste treatment plants.
