Yumamia Inc. is looking for an exceptional UI / UX Developer possessing the art of web design to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients. Responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. You should have experience with design software and wire-frame tools. Having a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications will have a higher chance of hiring.
Job Description:
- Gathering and evaluating requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
- Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets, etc...
- Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems.
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images.
Job Requirements
- Portfolio of design projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- Solid experience in creating wire-frames, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies.
- GIT revision control.
- Experience using Template engine is a plus.
- BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field.
