Job Description
- We are looking to expand our development team with passionate back-end developers that love building scalable, maintainable, and optimized web applications.
- Software development life-cycle including design and implementation, unit testing, and production deployment
- Will be working with Drupal and Wordpress as well as other PHP related CMSs.
- This job is in New Cairo in Sector 5. Next to the AUC Campus.
- The job hours are 3pm - 11pm Cairo time. The coverage is for New York hours to cover company customers.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of professional programming experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience working in PHP 5 and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Redis, Memcached or NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with PCI Compliant code, payment gateways and server environments is a plus.
- Experience contributing to OSS is a plus.
- Experience developing on a LAMP Stack.
- Experience with nginx and PHP-FPM is a plus.
- Experience with unit testing is a plus.
- Experience with Source Control Systems (GIT).
- Experience in E-commerce Development and maintenance is a plus.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or strong PHP experience.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
