Job Description
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Reviews accounts payable voucher submissions for legal and repair and maintenance expenses.
- Reviews accounts receivable agings for delinquencies, cash applications and prepaid rent application.
Job Requirements
- One year general Accounting experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Real estate experience preferred.
- Ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and accounting software systems.
