Job Description
- Managing and directing company's operation and resources to ensure smooth and efficient process and activity per regulatory standards and clients demand to protect their interests.
- Supervise truck loading activities in accordance with terminal procedures and safety work instructions.
- Responsible for daily product reconciliation (meter and tanks). Responsible for recording all reconciliation transaction on the company system.
- Responsibilities within terminal premises).
- Managing the safety activities including safety management system implementation,
- Representing the company in industry safety committees, leading safety audit exercises,
- Reviewing and approving procedures and emergency response plans, reporting and
- investigating incidents and safety training activities.
- Leading and managing the day-to-day operations of Chemical storage of tank terminal.
- Managing & planning of company's operations; Handling of bulk liquid chemicals, Loading & discharging of vessels (tankers), trucks, containers, flexitanks & ISO tanks, transfer (Pipe& Tank Transfer) and product movement monitoring.
- Ensure products pre-discharge/loading quality and quantities.
- Conduct shore tanks cleaning and pre-shipment inspections for shore tanks.
- Conduct risk assessments, Record, investigate and report safety incidents
- Coordinating with sales and logistics departments and shippers, agents, transporters and
- Receivers for shipments to achieve timely shipments.
- Reviewing, checking and evaluating work relevant documents.
- Managing terminal’s supplies and requirements.
- Assuring of applying company safety policy and conditions.
- Preparing & submitting technical proposals & quotations.
- Preparing daily, monthly and annually operational reports and ensure all are sent to concerned people on a timely manner.
- Manage external interfaces with local authorities.
- Preparing a maintenance schedule and conducting the maintenance of all equipment’s in time.
- Plan, Organize and Manage day to day operations to ensure achievement of stevedoring plans in an effective, safe and timely manner.
- Performing all tank planning of all upcoming vessels, and ensure that all tanks are safe,clean and ready to receive products
- Nominate the third party inspectors before vessels berth to the port jetty, and ensure that all
- Terminal Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is followed in the inspection process, deal with vessel master.
- Manage and conduct the key test process with third-party inspectors before vessel’s berthing.
Job Requirements
- Education Major : Mechanical Engineering.
- Language: Arabic Native, English Fluent.
