Job Description
At Tactful.ai our goal is to take the experience of online shopping to a whole different level. Tactful.ai is a Virtual Shopping Assistance SaaS platform that is built for online merchants of any size and powered by an advanced AI technology.
- You’ll be part of a world-class team in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as Python Java, C++ or C#.
- Proficiency in object-oriented development and ability to apply OO concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms).
- Hands on experience with JavaScript.
- Hands on experience with DB design and SQL.
- Experience mentoring junior software engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective.
- Experience in communicating with other team members and management to collect requirements, describe software product features and technical designs.
Location and Benefits
- We know Cairo’s traffic can be difficult, so we allow you to work remotely 2 days a week.
- This is a full-time position available in our office in Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt.
