EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR FOR HIGH QUALITY EXHIBITION DESIGN AND INTERIOR DESIGN OF THE GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM IN GIZA STARTING AUGUST 2018

OUR WORK

  • ATELIER BRÜCKNER is one of the worlds leading design studios of museum exhibitions design.
  • As a general planner, we cover all design phases and design disciplines – architecture, exhibition design/ fit out, scenography, graphics, light planning, media planning and media design, as well as content.
  • In our studio in Stuttgart, we work in interdisciplinary project teams with 120 staff coming form diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.
  • Following our philosophy "form follows content" our objective is to communicate content in new fascinating ways by generating narrative spaces, in which the visitors are taken on an eventful journey and conveying the message.

YOUR JOB

  • ATELIER BRÜCKNER is currently looking for an experienced on-site (interior) architect or construction manager to supervise the set-up of our exhibition and construction of interior spaces at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza near Cairo. The construction will start in August 2018 and is intended to be finished in early 2019.

YOUR TASKS

  • Supervising and managing the construction of our exhibition and interior galleries
  • Collaborating closely with our in-house project team
  • Communication with the client, planning partners and construction firms on-site
  • Report to and coordination of client, contractors, construction firms and planning partners on-site

Job Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum of 10 years experience as on-site architect or construction manager for international
  • High-quality exhibitions and interior designs of high-class museum exhibitions
  • Experience in working in the Middle-East (Egypt specifically is a plus), experience with the culture, mentality and work ethics a must
  • Ability to keep things going, finding mutual solutions, coordinating partners on-site and attaining best results
  • High communication, organizational and social skills
  • High technical understanding and good skills in CAD (technical drawings)
  • Absolutely fluency in English is a must, very good command of Arab a big plus
  • Structured, efficient and hands-on working style
