Job Description

GEN Egypt/MCSBE strives to play an active role in the field of entrepreneurship development by inspiring as well as empowering young people to develop their ideas into successful initiatives and companies, by connecting them to network and knowledge.

We are looking for a highly professional Social Media and Marketing Coordinator for a full time job.

A Social Media and Marketing Coordinator will be in charge of driving the entity brand awareness, engaging our audiences on our multiple social media platforms and supporting the team members with research, marketing data and administrative support.

He/she will be working closely with the Executive manager and the Communications Manager in the preparation and execution of different events, activities and reports (International/National conferences, meetings, workshops and seminars)

Responsibilities:

  • Developing creative and innovative media content across social media platforms.
  • Reporting to his/her direct manager to ensure a cohesive social media strategy.
  • Managing daily tasks and activity for all social media channels.
  • Researching market and social media trends and competition.
  • Delivering monthly reports with statistics and results for each page or account.
  • Handle day-to-day media relations activities, and per activity.
  • Track and analyze the quality and quantity of GEN Egypt/MCSBE's media coverage.
  • Design and implement communications plans and media outreach strategies in cooperation with other team members.
  • Develop new content partnerships and social media outreach opportunities.
  • Manage media attendees at all GEN Egypt/MCSBE activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication-related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
  • Background in events organizing is a plus.
  • Word-excel–outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with multiple tasks
  • Independent and able to work in a flexible team
