Job Description
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide immediate first level support; Whether via phone or remote access including to problem resolution for software/hardware
- Routine maintenance of the HW and SW according to agreed plans
- Perform minor software and minor hardware repairs
- Diagnosing errors, troubleshoot & maintain network connections or any other computer systems
- Maintain inventory of all IT equipment.
- Handle all documentation for hardware and software, maintenance and problem resolutions
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support or external consultant.
- Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
- Maintain network servers such as file servers, AD, Print server....etc
- Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
- Internet and system security.
- Dealing with the web domain.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- Experience:1-3 Years’ experience
- Education: Engineering Degree in computer / communication / biomedical
- Excellent command of English
- Familiar with applications and software
- Excellent communication skills multitasker
- Excellent user of MS office applications
- Knowledge in networking (VPN, virtualization, and firewall) “Mandatory”
- Knowledge in switches and routers “Mandatory”
- Knowledge in servers and storage (Dell, HP, IBM …. etc)
- Knowledge in VMware and Microsoft cluster CCNA & MCSE
