Job Description
Optomatica is looking for a Junior Backend Engineer who can work effectively as part of a team owning critical backend systems such as billing and order processing. You will be on the cutting edge of server technologies building high performing and reliable systems that meet international standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and enhance existing ones
- Research new technologies and develop Proofs of Concept
- Deploy new features and bug fixes to production servers
- Write automated tests for your work using technologies such as rspec_api_documentation
Job Requirements
- Self Motivated and willing to learn new technologies
- Good Object Oriented Analysis and Design
- Good programming and testing skills
- Good research and communication skills
- Can develop RESTful APIs
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience in Ruby on Rails or Node.js is a plus
