Job Description
What we are looking for
The accountant will perform all accounting transactions within IFP Egypt office, analyze financial information and prepare monthly financial reports to maintain various financial activities within the company, and resolve any accounting discrepancies, in line with IFP accounting procedures and local financial and legal requirements.
Main Tasks
- Perform and process accounting entries in a timely manner and allocate costs to related events and cost centers
- Handle supplier payments and update aging of payables and receivables
- Check and manage the treasury position
- Perform monthly reconciliation of bank and sister companies’ or intercompany accounts
- Perform end of month and end of year closing tasks
- Prepare and submit the required financial statements on a monthly basis
- Prepare and analyze the annexed reports to the financial statements
- Assist HR Department on any request regarding monthly payroll preparation
- Coordinate with HR on the end of service indemnity procedures
- Prepare cost analysis of events and business activities of the station
- Analyze station’s events budgetary control sheets and report variances to the Chief Accountant
- Coordinate with sales regarding clients’ accounts
- Issue invoices and credit notes to clients according to sales requirements
- Update the sales report and send to concerned reports
- Send supporting documents for every event
- Liaise with external and internal auditors where needed
Job Requirements
- Education: BS in Accounting or Finance required - CMA / CPA is a plus
- Experience: 4 to 5 years in accounting and financial reporting
- Language: High Proficiency in English, Arabic is preferable
