Job Description

  • Issue purchase orders
  • Follow up with the supplier till the delivery of goods, get the order confirmation, check all the details mentioned and determine the delivery date
  • Follow up with the supplier to secure receiving the original documents
  • Deliver the documents to the customs clearance agency and follow up with them till the arrival of the goods
  • Deliver the packing list to the store keeper upon the arrival of the goods
  • Insure the arrival of goods in a condition identical to the ordered items
  • Follow up on the supplier’s payment by sending the due invoices to the Accounting Department
  • Send copy of the bank transfer telex to the supplier
  • Negotiate and follow up with the supplier or the insurance company the arrival of either the missing parts of the replacements for the defected parts if any
  • Maintain history records for all purchased items

Job Requirements

  • University degree and relevant work experience.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Good Computer skills.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English language (speaking, reading and writing).
