Job Description
- Plans and, implements specialized quality control activities and tests across plant’s manufacturing area, moisture, raw material quality, product’s characteristic on specific manufacturing stages
- Ensures that the operation’s activities meet the internal quality standards and are in compliance with the products’ specifications
- Works closely with the respective production manager for the successful monitoring and controlling of the quality parameters.
- Liaises with senior manufacturing & marketing personnel, communicating the quality testing results and proposes, whenever necessary, actions to be taken.
- Assessing the product's quality by testing for a range of features like heat value, temperature, humidity, ash, chlorine… etc
- Ensures that all quality control test data are correctly recorded, as well as equipment are accurately calibrated in own area.
- Maintains laboratory equipment
- Implements Health, Environment and Safety plans and conducts regular follow-ups of the plant’s operations, in order to identify and report issues of consideration and support the alignment of the company with the local legislation and company’s standards
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in chemical science or engineering
- At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience
- Basic Knowledge on Solid fuel Energy Sector or RDF or Alternative fuel or Combustion Processes
- Knowledge of quality control methods and instruments
- Analytical and conceptual thinking
- Presentation and communication skills
- Advanced organizational skills
- Team work and cooperation
- PC literacy
- Good command of English
