Job Description
- Gather information on hours worked for each employee
- Calculate the correct amounts, deductions etc. with the assistance of a computer system
- Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
- Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
- Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
- Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
- Keep track of salaries, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
- Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
- Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc
- Consistently, accurately process payroll for all MTS employees.
- Audit time sheets accurately to ensure wages and benefits are properly distributed
- Accurately record and document all transactions, as directed
- Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, deductions, taxes and insurance payments)
- Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of Experience.
- BS degree in human resources, business administration or finance
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases
- Solid Hands - on experience in SAP is a must .

- Excellent communication skills
