Job Description
ThePlanet is on the hunt for a talented Senior Back-End Web Developer. Who will perform the following:
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Design and implementation of data storage solutions
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
- Data migration, transformation, and scripting
- Outputting data in different formats
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Job Requirements
Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Back-end developer.
Proficient knowledge of
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Backend programming languages (PHP/Python/JavaScript)
- Backend technologies: PHP /Laravel, Nodejs, Mysql, Postgres,Mongodb, Elasticsearch, cassandra
- Good understanding of front-end technologies and platforms in general, such as: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, materializecss, Angular.js, Vue.js, React.js, LESS/SASS
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Great knowledge of AWS services
- Proficient understanding of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
